If I Ever Needed Grace
If I ever needed grace, it’s now You are strong when I am weak, somehow I am weak enough to see I need You to cover me If I ever needed grace, it’s now In every joy and pain Whatever comes my way God I need Your grace

1 John 3:18-20
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence, whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.
20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
1 John 3:20
Something that I have been struggling with the past month is condemning myself. God has been convicting me, but it’s hard to stop my mind from thinking those thoughts. Please pray for me!

In the Name of Jesus
“The Christian leader of the future is the one who truly knows the heart of God as it has become flesh, “a heart of flesh,” in Jesus. Knowing God’s heart means consistently, radically, and very concretely announcing and revealing that God is love and only love, and that every time fear, isolation, or despair begins to invade the human soul, that is not something that comes...

GAP
GAP has decided to ditch their ugly new logo and revert back to their original classic logo. Agreed. Click to read the article. Additionally, GAP issued out a call for customers and fans to create alternative logo designs. I dunno, there are some interesting ones but i still love the blue box.

advice to graphic design students
Anonymous asked: What advice would you give to a graphic design student?
“Design does not equal client work. It’s hard to make purple work in a design. The things your teachers tell you in class are not gospel. You will get conflicting information. It means that both are wrong. Or both are true. This never stops. Most decisions are gray, and everything...

haunting photos from katrina →
For those photographers, 25 photos from hurricane katrina. despite the sad and haunting nature of these photos, i think they are quite beautiful. the photos really depict the tragedy and chaos that katrina caused. i especially like the one with the woman swimming through the water with oil all around her. Click the link to see all of them.

36 Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go over there and pray.” 37 And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled. 38 Then he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me.” 39 And going a little farther he fell on...

Just finished sharing at waikiki with toujon. Our last conversation left me feeling a little frustrated and sad. We talked to a woman named debbie. She’s a grandma and we found her sitting on the strip in waikiki with her grandson. Her life has consisted of one struggle after another. Some of her kids are homeless, alcoholics, and drug addicts. Debbie herself was recently homeless and...
